Blow up Boston!

No, seriously, please do. I hate that city's sports teams and their fans with the fire of a thousand suns.

Returning to the Phillies-free agents conversation, turns out marquee free agents are turning down $12 million dollars to play for the Red Sox. I don't know why. Playing in Philly obviously gives you the best chance of winning an MVP.

Also, the Eagles are 22-point dogs in Foxboro this weekend. You read that right. Biggest dog of the season, and in Eagles history. C'mon, Diesel, take the Pats with the points. I dare you.

The anti-Boston vitriol coming from a Philthy-delphia native is fucking hilarious. Philly fans embody all of the negative stereotypes that Boston fans do, but without the winning teams.

It should probably be noted for clarity that the last comment was a joke. No beef with Philly, just an observation. It's hard to convey inflection over the interweb. I owe at least ten pounds to those delicious cheesesteaks.

I do, however, make no apologies for being a Boston fan.

Well, that's because the Boston fan base only became intolerable after it started winning. You guys are all sort of like your hero Bill Simmons: endearing enough in your assholishness and funny accents and inferiority, as long as you're losing. But once you started winning you became bad caricatures of New York fans, minus what little class they have.

Philly fans would be just as bad or worse if their teams ever won a few titles. But that's like saying I'd be a nicer guy if Heidi Klum woke me up with a blowjob every day.

Whoops -- meant to say "inferiority complex," not actual inferiority.

22 points isn't enough. It's not even close...You know it's gotten bad when you actually have a vested interest in Major League Soccer. Houston beat Boston, and when I found out about it, I actually pumped my fist. Take that you fuckhead Bostonians. Go Houston Dynamo!

And soon Philly will have an MLS team for me to root for while it does not win championships!
